Yurii Lontkovskyi is a Ph.D. (Medicine), the highest category neurosurgeon; neurosurgeon of the Kamianets-Podilskyi City Hospital, Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council, Director and Leading Specialist of the medical center of Medlon LLC, Chairman of the Board of the NGO, Kamianets-Podilskyi Medical Care Providers Association, Deputy Head of the Committee on Social and Humanitarian Issues (healthcare, maternity and childhood; education and science; youth, sports and tourism; social protection and religion; interaction with combatants and volunteers) of the Public Council under Khmelnytskyi Region State Administration.
On June 27, 2017, 12:00, at a meeting of the Specialized Scientific Council D 26.557.01 in the Romodanov Neurosurgery Institute, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (32 P. Maiboroda St., Kyiv, conference hall), Yurii Lontkovskyi, a neurosurgeon of the Traumatology Department, Kamianets-Podilskyi City Hospital No. 1, defended its Ph.D. (Medicine; specialty 14.01.05, Neurosurgery) thesis: Neurosurgical Treatment of Local Spasticity of the Lower Extremities’ Muscles.
Main fields of scientific research and practical activity: minimally invasive and endoscopic neurosurgery, spinal neurosurgery, radiofrequency methods of pain syndrome treatment, treatment of pathological spasticity, outpatient interventional neurosurgery.
Authored 20+ research papers, 3 inventions and patents.
