Advisor to<\/strong> the<\/strong> President<\/strong>, Ukrainian<\/strong> Neuros<\/strong>urgi<\/strong>cal<\/strong> Association<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n

Mykhailo Orlov was born in Vinnytsia on 13.06.1968. In 1996, graduated from the National Pirogov Vinnytsia Medical University (Medical Practitioner). In 1996 \u2013 1998, completed an internship course (Neurosurgery) in Kyiv Institute of Neurosurgery, where he worked as a neurosurgeon. In 2000, completed a clinical residency in the Romodanov Neurosurgery Institute, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Neurosurgery).<\/p>\n

In 2001, defended a Ph.D. (Medicine) thesis.<\/p>\n

In 2008, obtained the highest qualification category in neurosurgery.<\/p>\n

In 2011, after defending his thesis with the Specialized Academic Council of the Neurosurgery Institute, received the degree of Doctor of Medicine (Neurosurgery). In 2015, was awarded the academic title of Senior Researcher (Neurosurgery) by the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Since 2015, has been the Head of the Department for Neurosurgical Treatment of Head and Neck Vascular Diseases with an X-ray and operation room, the Romodanov Neurosurgery Institute, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

In 2018, was certified as a pediatric neurosurgeon.<\/p>\n

In 2021, was awarded the academic title of Professor (222, Medicine) by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Yu. Orlov is a highly qualified neurosurgeon. Being an active neurosurgeon, he has unmatched skills in surgical interventions for cerebrovascular lesions, including endovascular operations for congenital diseases and malformations of cerebral vessels \u2014 arterial aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations; stenotic head and neck vessel lesions. Extensive experience in all types of X-ray contrast cerebrovascular studies. Member of the Academic Council of the Neurosurgery Institute and the Specialized Academic Council for the Defense of Doctoral Thesis, Romodanov Neurosurgery Institute, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Active researcher, author of 80+ research papers in medical periodicals, co-author of 1 innovative proposal.<\/p>\n

Supervised the defense of 3 Ph.D. (Medicine) thesis works.<\/p>\n
